As per the CNN updates on May 30, 2017, terrible floods in Sri Lanka have devastated the lives of more than half a million people. This is the worst flood that has hit the country in 14 years and is attributed to the extreme Monsoon rains across Southwestern regions of the country. As of the latest update from CNN, at least 194 people have been killed, 112 people have been injured, and 99 people are missing; these numbers have been predicted to rise as rains tend to continue. Further, people are battling their lives with threats of attacks from crocodiles, swimming through the floods. Victims have lost their hope, families, children, homes, belongings, assets pets and everything near and dear to them. It is now a matter of surviving this phase with your generous donations.
